A Voice That Comes from Experience
Peter Craen spent 40 years at senior level across financial services, health, and energy — running complex transformation programmes, leading large teams, and navigating the pressures that come with operating at the top.
On 16 September 2025, he experienced burnout. Not a slow fade — a sudden stop. The recovery that followed changed how he thinks about leadership, performance, and what we ask of senior professionals.
He now works as an executive coach and mentor, and is building a speaking profile on the subjects that matter to senior audiences but rarely get an honest airing: burnout in the boardroom, the real blockers to career progression, and what leadership actually looks like under sustained pressure.
Peter does not offer a motivational arc or a rehearsed story. He offers 40 years of pattern recognition and the particular clarity that comes from having been through it yourself.
