1. Services

The Journey Coaching & Mentoring Company (“we”, “us”, “Peter Craen”) provides executive coaching, leadership development, career transition coaching, burnout recovery coaching, mentoring, and speaking services to individual and organisational clients (“you”, “the client”).

2. Engagement Agreement

All coaching and mentoring engagements are subject to a written agreement that sets out the scope of work, number of sessions, fees, and specific terms applicable to your engagement. These general terms apply in addition to any specific engagement agreement.

3. Confidentiality

All information shared during coaching and mentoring sessions is treated as strictly confidential. We will not disclose personal information to any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law or where there is a risk of serious harm to you or others.

Where coaching is funded by an employer, we will agree with you at the outset what (if any) information will be shared with the sponsoring organisation. Content of sessions will not be shared without your consent.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session rate. Emergency situations are handled with discretion.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are set out in your engagement agreement. Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to pause services where invoices remain unpaid beyond 30 days.

6. Limitation of Liability

Coaching and mentoring is a professional service aimed at supporting your personal and professional development. We do not guarantee specific outcomes. Our liability in respect of any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement.

Coaching is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice. Where such advice is needed, we will say so and recommend you seek it.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during coaching engagements — frameworks, tools, documents, and resources — remain the intellectual property of The Journey Coaching & Mentoring Company unless explicitly transferred in writing.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
